UCI Cinemas Free 8 Mile CD Posted

People in the UK can look forward to recieving a free multimedia CD if they go
to see 8 Mile in any UCI cinema in the UK. The CD is said to contain audio and
extra film footage from the movie as well as a few other suprises.
Special preview screenings of 8 Mile can be seen this Saturday but the movie doesn't officially open in the UK until Friday 17th of January.

Eminem Nominated For Grammy Awards

Five-time Grammy winner Eminem is nominated for Record Of The Year, Best Male
Rap Solo Performance and Best Short Form Music Video (Without Me), as well as
Album Of The Year and Best Rap Album (The Eminem Show), at the 45th Grammy
awards.
The awards will take place on Febuary 23rd, and for the first time since 1998, they will be presented from New York. The show will be presented in New York City at Madison Square Garden.

Eminem did pretty good this year on Hip Hop Sites "Best and Worst List" of 2002.
His album was voted The #1 Best Hip Hop Album Of The Year, had 3 singles as "Top
Commercial Singles of The Year" (Lose Yourself, Without Me and Rock City with
Royce 5'9"), Best Verse (Nail In The Coffin), #4 Best Hip Hop Videos Of The Year
(Without Me), 2nd Best Compilation of the Year, #4th Marvel Team-Up (with Royce)
and one of the Best Beefs against Benzino. Even though he did pretty good, "My
Dad's Gone Crazy" was voted as the 3rd worst song by a Reputable Artist and one
of the Gayest Line in a song (Love Me). Benzino got the #1 Biggest Bitch Move Of
The Year for trying to mess with Em.

The RIAA has recognized Eminem as the top selling artist across all genres of
music in 2002. Em's album, The Eminem Show recently broke the 7 million mark
making it the best selling disc in 2002 and the soundtrack to 8 Mile released
via Em's label, Shady Records has already sold 3 million copies.
Em's 1999 major label debut, Slim Shady LP sold 4 million copies and his best selling album, The Marshall Mathers LP sold 8 million
